Our client, an independent Federally funded entity focused in the defence space is seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to join their team in late July.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation within Linux services in alignment with DSTG’s enterprise roadmaps.
- Deliver day-to-day delivery of Linux support services.
- Manage workloads, priorities and progress of system changes for Linux systems.
- Providing system administration and troubleshooting support services for complex research systems e.g. Linux, Linux virtualisation via on-premise cloud infrastructure.
Criteria:
- High level skills and experience in Linux scripting in at least one of: bash, perl, python.
- Strong skills in general Linux system administration of CentOS/RedHat.
- Strong web interface design skills interfacing to a backend Linux client-server environment.
- Experience developing Ansible playbooks.
