School Learning Support Staff - Commencing Term 3, 2025

The Central Coast Steiner School is seeking a full-time Primary Teacher’s Assistant for Class 3 to work during term time.

Key Selection Criteria:

has attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)

understands the principles and practices of Steiner education

shows a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum

demonstrates a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support

experience or understanding of working with neurodivergent children, with a nurturing and inclusive approach

demonstrates a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings

has excellent standards in literacy and numeracy

has an excellent command of spoken English

has experience in working in schools

works well as part of a team and communicates well with colleagues

can take initiative and be flexible

The successful candidate must also provide a Working with Children Clearance prior to commencing.
