The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our residential Breathing Space Men’s Behaviour Change Program.

In this role you will be part of a passionate and dedicated team delivering a specifically designed program to men who choose to use violence and abuse in their relationships with partners(s) or family members. This approach supports victim survivors, including children, to remain in their homes and in connection with their support networks, to maximise their safety.

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting men to develop safe and healthy relationships.

Contributing to risk assessments, safety planning, and case notes.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

This position will be offered on a casual work basis. Due to the nature of the position and industry, this role is part of the Breathing Space roster in providing night and weekend shifts.

Who Are We?

Since 1977, we have been delivering high-quality support services. In May 2020, we became the custodian of White Ribbon Australia, expanding the organisation's reach nationwide.

We are committed to fostering a diverse workforce and aiming to inspire and empower those we serve. Over the past 45 years, our values—Everyone is welcome, Doing what we say, Above and beyond, and Stronger together—have remained central to our operations
