About the Role
We are currently looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our Capalaba team. This role is available as either part-time or casual.

As a Sales Consultant, your main goal is to create exceptional in-store experiences. You’ll engage with customers to understand their needs, provide expert product advice, and guide them toward the perfect sleep solution. Alongside sales, you’ll assist in keeping the showroom looking fresh and inviting – ensuring stock is ticketed, rotated, clean and well presented.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Greet customers and understand their bedroom and bedding needs

· Provide knowledgeable advice and product recommendations

· Manage point-of-sale transactions confidently and accurately

· Follow up on customer queries and post-sale requests

· Maintain high store standards with regular stock checks, tidying, and merchandising

· Work collaboratively in a team environment

About You
You’re warm, friendly, and a great listener. Customers trust you because you’re helpful without being pushy, and you genuinely care about helping them find what they need. You’re also detail-oriented, well-organized, and eager to keep learning.

We’re looking for someone who has:

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail or sales

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help out wherever needed

· A proactive, can-do approach, mature outlook and a strong work ethic

· High attention to detail in sales and store presentation

· Solid computer literacy (Windows/Apple + Microsoft Office)

· Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and potentially some training evenings

What else

This role requires availability for up to 4 days per week on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and preferably Fridays.
We are unable to offer visa sponsorship. Only applicants with the right to live and work in Australia will be considered.
