About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Finance Officer to join our team at Family Services Australia. This is a part-time position based in Shellharbour, with the opportunity to work 3 - 4 days per week. Hours and days can be flexible depending on your availability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, accurate data entry and accounts reconciliation. The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. Prior experience in a similar role is essential.

Essential criteria - Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Value-Add

Graduate with successful attainment of a relevant University Degree or TAFE qualification will be highly regarded;

Experience with MYOB or other finance related systems preferred;

Strong MS Excel skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to meet deadlines and plan workload efficiently to meet company and client expectations

Experience in a community service environment or equivalent operating environment that has included successful, cohesive and supportive engagement with teams;

Strong proactive problem-solving ability to resolve day to day operational priorities with sustainable solutions;

Ability to support a multi-disciplined environment with high standards of Care, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Audit and Risk Management;

Outstanding internal and external communication and interpersonal skills to aid staff capacity development;

Ability to obtain Working with Children's Check and National Police Check (NPC) clearances.
