The Role

Our client is seeking a polished, professional and experienced corporate receptionist to join their team and to become that all important face of the business.

The role will suit a candidate looking to continually excel and go the extra mile in this position. You will ideally either be an experienced career Receptionist looking to settle into a role long term within this highly successful business with a great reputation in the market. Or a Receptionist/Administrator looking to continue within a similar position looking to take it that next step.

Reception experience will be a must to be considered for this position.

The Responsibilities
Role duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting of visitors at all levels, ranging from high profile clients, to couriers in a consistently professional and friendly manner.
  • Present a positive and can do approach to the role.
  • Show initiative and possess the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ensure all meeting rooms are kept to a high standard throughout the day and replenish supplies as they run low.
  • Answer all incoming calls and email queries in a timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships with internal staff.
  • Assist with adhoc administration tasks.
  • Assist with organisation and location of quarterly events, including management of invites and responses.
  • Organise catering for internal events.
  • Liaise with building management, escalating any issues as they arise.
  • Updating of relevant databases when required.
  • Adhoc duties as required.

About You

  • To ensure success with in this role you will be able to work with a high level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality - due to the nature of the business - you will exposed to highly confidential information and documentation.
  • Pride yourself on your ability to provide exceptional customer service, going the extra mile.
  • Have a natural ability to show initiative and confident work autonomously, as well as with a team.
  • Be inquisitive - if something doesn't look right - investigate and action.
  • Have a great communication style, verbal and written.
  • Preempt needs that may arise and want to continue learning in the role.
