Overview:

Join a leading Australian bank to be part of a high-performance finance team delivering key insights, analysis, and forecasting to drive commercial outcomes for various technology projects. This role will suit someone with a deep understanding of technology finance and project accounting. Prior banking experience is beneficial but not a pre-requisite.

Responsibilities:

• Performance reporting and forecasting across various IT project initiatives
• Provision of key financial metrics across various IT project initiatives, delivering actionable outcomes to improve project performance
• Development of deep relationships across technology project teams
• Ensure IT projects maintain "green" in status, and provide various strategies to to bring "red" projects back to "green"
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting

Experience required:

• CA/CPA qualified
• Strong finance business partner working experience
• Ideally previous experience as a finance business partner working with IT or in a project accounting role
• Previous banking or financial services services experience is not required but would be valuable
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent attention to detail
