Dispute Resolution Specialist - NSW Government

We’re partnering with a high-profile NSW Government agency to recruit a Dispute Resolution Specialist. This role offers the chance to work within a fast-paced, customer-focused team committed to resolving complex matters and delivering quality outcomes for NSW residents.
Key Details:

• Rate: $62.66 per hour + Super
• Duration: Anticipated through to 26 August 2025 (with possible extension)
• Location: Sydney CBD + Work From Home (hybrid model)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

In this role, you will:

• Manage and resolve complex dispute matters using an evidence-based, solution-focused approach.
• Undertake in-depth investigations and apply relevant legislation and policy to determine fair and consistent outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external parties to facilitate effective complaints management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, governance, and service delivery.

About you:

• You’re an experienced professional with a background in complaints, compliance, investigations, legal, or dispute resolution.
• You bring sound analytical and problem-solving skills and are confident interpreting policy and legislation.
• You communicate clearly, write well, and take pride in delivering accurate and timely results.
• You're a team player, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• You have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
