About the Role

As an Assistant Financial Accountant, you’ll support the Financial Controller in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for a global manufacturing organisation. You’ll assist with month-end processes, reconciliations, and provide ad hoc support to the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, gaining broad exposure to core financial accounting activities within an international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities;
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data;
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes;
• Assist with preparation for internal and external audits; and
• Provide ad hoc assistance to the AR and AP teams including invoice processing and payment runs.

What We’re Looking For

• CA/CPA Qualified or nearing completion;
• 3 years' experience in a similar finance role;
• Strong Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g. D365, SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable;
• Experience in Manufacturing, Wholesale or Retail;
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude; and
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
