We’re seeking a skilled Workshop Mechanic for a full-time, permanent position with our client based in Acacia Ridge. This hands-on role involves working within the power generation sector, reporting directly to the Mechanical Leading Hand.

Ideal candidates will be trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanics with solid experience and a willingness to apply their skills to a dynamic and growing industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Assemble AC alternators to engines with precision and attention to detail
• Perform engine repairs and complete rebuilds as required
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostic assessments to identify mechanical issues
• Install and integrate external lubrication systems to engine assemblies

Skills and experience required:

• Trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (or equivalent)
• Full Australian working rights & strong work ethic
• Hands-on experience with engine assembly, diagnostics & repairs
• Able to read technical drawings & follow instructions
• Knowledge of AC alternators & lube systems (advantageous)
