The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government, enabling agencies to focus on their core business. Workforce Services are delivered to client agencies under a centralised services model across geographically and culturally diverse environment. The Workforce Services team provides support across a range of areas including Workforce Management, Workforce Performance and Generalist Human Resource support.

As Senior Officer (AO6), Workforce Services your primary objective is to provide high-level, customer focussed generalist HR Management advice and support to NT Government agencies and staff across the Big Rivers Region. Working proactively with clients, you will develop and maintain effective partnerships, research and analyse information, undertake case management workloads and recommend appropriate resolutions.

As Manager (AO7), Workforce Services your role provides leadership and support to the Workforce Services team and focusses on the more complex workforce and human resources matters.

Your demonstrated experience and contemporary knowledge of operational Strategic HR, employment legislation and case management will ensure the successful delivery of the agencies business objectives.

Both roles require high-level communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills supported by well-developed written skills and the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence human resource practices.

Working alongside a supportive and inspiring team, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package consisting of; 11.5% superannuation, six weeks recreational and three weeks personal leave, up to 17.5% annual leave loading, 3 day paid shutdown over Christmas and the opportunity to further develop your career in the Northern Territory Public Sector.

If you reside outside the Territory, this is a great time to consider a move to the area known as the Big Rivers Region. Katherine is the fourth-largest town in the Territory with over 11,000 residents, amazing attractions; including a National Park with 13 impressive gorges carved from the ancient sandstone, thermal springs, stunning landscapes and a long and rich history of Aboriginal art and culture.

Flexible work agreements and a lump sum payment up to $9,000 and assistance with relocation expenses may be negotiated in line with operational requirements.
