We are offering a part-time opportunity (3–4 days per week) for an occupational therapist to join our team and provide community outreach therapy services in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. The role has the potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate, if desired.

About the role:

In this role, you’ll take part in a 12-month program designed to support your transition from student to clinician. You’ll receive clinical supervision from a senior occupational therapist, with plenty of opportunities to shadow and learn alongside them, helping you develop your clinical skills and experience as you settle into the role.

You’ll begin by working with shared clients alongside our senior OT, giving you the opportunity to ease into clinical practice with support, mentoring, and continuity -ideal if you're developing your skills across the lifespan or seeking a collaborative team.

Overview of Duties:

Complete assessments and provide therapy services.

Provide therapy supports and consultation services, tailored to clients needs.

Write progress notes and reports.

What do you need for the role?

AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is required prior to commencing employment.

Valid Victorian Drivers license and reliable motor vehicle.

Professional indemnity insurance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential.

Current police, working with children and DWES check.
