The Goldfish Bar & Restaurant are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our staff on a full-time basis, working with our team to bring new and exciting ideas to the table!

Duties & responsibilities:

Serve food of the highest quality in both taste and presentation

Creative development of menus and pricing

Collaborate as an active member of the team, leading by example and nurturing a positive working environment

Ordering of stock and maintenance of equipment

Training & mentorship of junior staff

Sign off on all areas of sanitation and safety compliance

Experience & attributes:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

An understanding of KPIs, food costs, and budgets

Experience planning innovative menus

Strong organisational and time management skills

Ability to identify opportunities to improve the standard of our clientele’s dining experience

People management skills & ability to coach a team for success

A cool head under pressure

Excellent team working skills
