This is an opportunity with boutique fund manager. You will be working in a lean environment and will have plenty of opportunity to learn, whilst reporting directly to an experienced and high-quality Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years’ experience in risk and compliance activities ideally in investments, funds management, superannuation or wealth management environment.

You will have a keen to learn and curious personality which will see you be successful in this role.

You will work directly with the Head of Risk and Compliance and other senior stakeholders in the business and will gain broad end to end exposure to a funds management business.

Your role will be varied, and will assist with the following activities:

• Monitoring the funds schemes, ETFs and discrete mandates in accordance with ASIC/ASX requirements
• Monitoring and execution of all compliance activities as per compliance plan
• Reviewing and maintaining all policies and procedures in accordance with the policy review schedule
• Preparing and presenting risk and compliance training to staff in accordance with the annual training plan
• Maintenance of various registers including, material risk register, training register, incident register, conflicts of interest and related party registers
• Assist with maintaining AML/CTF Program including, reporting to external service providers and stakeholders
• Confidently, accurately and promptly respond to risk and compliance queries and requests received from the business
• Prepare Board and Committee papers and taking minutes of Committee meetings
• Various other risk and compliance activities
