About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Person to join a well-respected care facility. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility

Cleaning, painting, and minor touch-ups as required

Replace batteries in remotes and light fixtures

Repair furniture and basic equipment

Conduct water temperature checks and regular inspections

Identify and report hazards or major issues

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

National Police Check (essential)

Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role

Strong general maintenance and repair skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Understanding of safe work practices
