Annual full-time equivalent salary | $93,015 - $101,173 + 11.5% super + salary packaging**
Join our team to support the HNECC PHNs goal of improving health outcomes for people living in the Hunter New England and Central Coast regions.
About the role
The Commissioning Coordinator Mental Health and Suicide Prevention supports the HNECC PHN's mission by managing Mental Health & Suicide Prevention funding in keeping with the Quintuple Aim of health equity, clinician well-being, better health, improved outcomes, and value for money. The Commissioning Coordinator coordinates and overseas the design, commissioning, procurement and ongoing management of the PHN funded mental health & suicide prevention services across the region by contributing to the strategic objectives of the organisation.
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in health, social welfare or business field and/or a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, consensus-building, data analysis and consultation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to achieve organisational/contract goals and performance.
- Ability to work independently, and in a collaborative team.
- High level computer literacy with a range of software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information
**PHN's have been funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing since 2015. All roles at our PHN are maximum-term and linked to our funding contracts with the Department of Health. This is a maximum term contract until 30 June 2026 and any contract extensions are dependent on ongoing funding. Appointment of the successful candidate may be delayed, subject to the additional funding from NSW Ministry of Health.
**Salary: This role is classified as I – M within our Enterprise Agreement and the rate will be dependent on skills and experience/qualifications. New appointments are generally offered between grade I – K.
