As our highly valued Program Coordinator within the Mental Health and Alcohol and other Drugs Team you will use your passion to improve mental health and AOD outcomes for the community to lead initiatives that create positive change region wide.
You’ll make an impact at scale by:
Leading a portfolio of work, within the mental health and alcohol and other drugs team that aims to address the unmet primary care needs of individuals who experience barriers to accessing supports appropriate for their need.
Using your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Implementing commissioning activities including co-design, procurement, monitoring and evaluation.
Being actively involved in region wide mental health and suicide prevention planning and implementation of activities that work towards ensuring high quality, integrated, responsive and consumer-centred mental health and AOD services.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of primary mental health and alcohol and other drugs sector, and the importance of integrated service delivery.
Demonstrated experience and/or an understanding of commissioning and contract management including co-design, procurement, monitoring and evaluation of commissioned services.
Extensive track record of high level internal and external stakeholder engagement and development of partnerships on a regional level.
Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating innovative approaches to change in regional systems.
Ability to lead a project including development of a business case, program planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Selection Criteria
Describe your skills and experience in leading and coordinating innovative approaches to create positive change in regional systems, preferably in the area of mental health and alcohol and other drugs.
Provide an example of where you have undertaken high level internal or external stakeholder engagement to achieve a shared outcome.

Contract until 30 June 2026 with possible extension dependent on funding.
