About the Role
Seeking a Senior Estimator with a strategic mindset and a passion for mentoring others. This is a key position where you'll not only oversee end-to-end estimating for a wide variety of commercial construction projects but also play a pivotal role in leading a small estimating team and improving systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating function and manage tenders from concept to submission
• Mentor and guide junior and intermediate estimators
• Collaborate closely with Directors, Pre-Construction, and Delivery teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
• Implement best-practice systems to drive accuracy and efficiency

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within the commercial construction sector
• Ability to manage and lead a small team
• Strong understanding of the Victorian construction market
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Experience across D&C, ECI, and hard dollar tenders
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Buildsoft or similar
