This experienced commercial builder are a reputable and renowned contractor with a fantastic track record here in VIC. They have enjoyed steady but significant growth over the past several years and as a result of expanding their reputation here in Melbourne are looking to add an Estimator to their team.

As a business they specialise in new build and refurb builds. The core of their business includes commercial, industrial, institutional, medical and educational generally up to $60m. The projects that they thrive on are technically challenging, complex builds that require an impeccable level of workmanship.

Your Requirements:

▪ Relevant tertiary qualifications; Construction Management & Economics/Quantity Surveying/Diploma in Construction

▪ 3+ years estimating experience on commercial projects

▪ Buildsoft & Cubit experience preferred

▪ Local experience and developed relationships with consultants, clients, sub contractors and suppliers is essential

▪ Ability to estimate from first principles and come up with different procurement & delivery methods that are going to offer unique cost saving options to the client

▪ Excellent time management, organisation and negotiation skills

Experience on jobs $20m + will be advantageous. You will gain direct exposure some seriously motivating and experience senior professionals in the business who have been with the business since inception.
