Project Manager – Hospitality / Commercial Building & Fit-out

Five One Group, a privately owned Commercial Building and Fit-out company is looking to expand our team to deliver innovative and exciting hospitality projects.

The successful candidate will oversee projects on a day-to-day basis, from inception to completion, ensuring works are conducted safely, on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard.

Skills and attributes we seek…

A relevant qualification in project management, architecture, construction or equivalent.

Proven and experienced project manager (3+ years) within the commercial building and or fit-out industry.

Thorough technical knowledge of all building trades.

Managerial, leadership and interpersonal communication.

Sound financial, analytical and numeracy skills.

Excellent organisational and time management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Project. Construction management software would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.

Interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Develop and manage detailed project plans.

Negotiate, award and manage external vendor contracts.

Prepare, manage and forecast detailed budgets and project costs.

Implement and monitor WHS policies and procedures.

Ensure adherence to building legislation (BCA) and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety.

The position has a broad salary range dependent on qualifications and experience.
