About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for managing project delivery services ranging from $400k to $4 million in scale. Projects will encapsulate project management, design and construction, office fit-outs, end-of-lease make goods, demolition, building refurbishments, extensions and change of use. Based in Melbourne, this role requires travel locally and interstate.

Your key accountabilities will include the following:

• Building key relationships across their client portfolio, comprising blue-chip corporations and institutional entities.
• Scoping of work and running the process from beginning to completion
• Developing a plan of action, including scheduling of resources and work planning
• Assessing risks and promoting and adhering to WHS standards
• Procurement of consultants or contractors to ensure successful and quality deliverables.

Your Skills and Attributes:

• We are seeking an energetic and skilled project manager with a proven ability to deliver minor capital works to a high standard.
• Ideally, you will have worked for a consultancy or service provider, understand outsourcing deliverables, and enjoy working in an operationally oriented, hands-on environment where service excellence is never too much.
• Qualifications in project management or relevant fields are necessary, as is an understanding of building codes and relevant legislation regarding WHS and compliance.
• Five years plus experience as a project manager or senior project manager is necessary.
• Fabulous communication skills and commercial acumen will see you thrive.
