A Prestigious venue on the Bayside of Brisbane has a long history of providing its members with great memories within its dining spaces where they can come and enjoy a meal at any time during the week. With amazing function spaces and spectacular views of the coastline, the venue hosts local and international events that bring the venue to life regularly.

The Roles

Currently hiring a range of roles including a CDP, Commis, and Breakfast Cooks who can work over a 7 day a week operations. The venue has multiple function spaces, used daily along with a 150-seat dining space that offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner all year round. You will have experience in all service styles and able to adapt to working under pressure however having the ability to show your creative and energetic abilities. You will be guided by the Senior Chefs in the kitchen to maintain a high culinary standard at all times, providing consistent quality meals to their patrons. You will be required to manage your own sections assigned to you and contribute to the smooth running of a service. Your daily duties will also include being involved with stock ordering and receiving goods for the kitchen.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be required to have but not limited to the following attributes.

• Proven experience in high volume A la Carte and Function service
• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
• Proven experience in running your own section and assisting others in the kitchen
• Strong communication, team player, good attitude, strong work ethic
• Relevant Qualifications in Commercial Cookery and food safety
