Marino Meat and Food Store is an upmarket traditional Italian butcher and speciality food store within the Adelaide Central Markets. Brimming with Italian and European food products, fresh pasta, dry aged meat and specialty cheeses, as well as our Panini Bar serving porchetta rolls and freshly piped cannoli. We’re an established family business and we’re looking for a Panini Bar Manager.

This is a permanent full time salaried opportunity for an engaging and energetic person. Hours are over Tuesday to Saturday, including late trade on Friday. Previous experience in a fast paced food service or catering role is necessary. Salary negotiable. This position presents an opportunity to take ownership of the role including managing a small team of staff, manage daily operations and make a real impact on the business. A detailed handover process will take place.

The Position

Prepare hot and cold food items, including handling raw and cooked meat

Clean and prepare workstations and displays

Provide exceptional and responsive customer service

Manage stock and consumables

Maintain QA records

Pack down and full clean to exceptional standard at end of day
