We are seeking a casual or full-time Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to join our Formulation Engineering group. This lab-based role will support IVPT (In Vitro Permeation Testing) throughput and analytical workflows, contributing directly to formulation evaluation and preclinical development.
Key Responsibilities
IVPT & Sample Handling
• Execute IVPT experiments using Franz diffusion cells.
• Prepare donor and receptor solutions, collect samples, and document observations.
• Maintain experiment logs and inventory of lab supplies.
Analytical Support
• Assist with HPLC sample prep, analysis, and data logging.
• Support method validation activities under supervision.
• Perform first level debug of HPLC issues to guide experienced service personnel.
• Help maintain calibration records and equipment logs.
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain organized digital records aligned with GLP practices.
• Handle Schedule 4 substances with care and full documentation.
• Participate in internal quality discussions and data reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on lab experience (academic or industry).
• Experience with analytical instrumentation (preferably HPLC).
• Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and maintain records.
Desirable:
• Direct experience with IVPT, Franz cell studies, or transdermal drug delivery is a strong plus.
• Exposure to method development or validation using ICH guidelines.
• Familiarity with electrochemical testing (such as potentiostat operation, EIS).
• Experience debugging issues with analytical equipment, especially HPLC.
• Experience handling Schedule 4 or regulated substances.
