Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Network Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. You will participate in the design, implementation and support of network infrastructure across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Network design, including planning and collaboration with internal and external parties.

Configuration of network appliances (switches, routers, wireless access points and firewalls).

Providing network support by troubleshooting network faults and performing routine network maintenance.

Management, review and contribution to network documentation.

Site attendance as project requirements dictate (some interstate travel may be required).

Skills and Qualifications:

1+ years of demonstrated network engineering experience.

Experience with network security appliances and technologies.

Engineering/Computer Science certification (certificate/degree) or relevant industry qualifications (i.e. CCNA, CCNP, JNCA, JNCP, Fortinet related certification).

Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders of varying technical understanding.

Desirable Qualities:

Familiarity with Fortinet, Ruckus, Calix, Juniper and Cambium network appliances.

Experience with Wi-Fi planning and design.

Experience with server virtualisation.

Experience with GPON (Calix).
