The Opportunity

We are seeking an Engineering Delivery Lead to oversee the delivery of complex software engineering projects within the Australian Defence Organisation context. This role requires leadership in project execution, coordination with stakeholders, and expertise in development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead software engineering teams to deliver reliable project outcomes.

Facilitate daily coordination meetings and manage project schedules.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and development standards.

Develop and review engineering documentation, including requirements traceability.

Coordinate testing and evaluation activities to support project delivery.

Engage with external stakeholders to align technical and project objectives.

Support project management and governance processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering or project delivery.

Familiarity with project management and software development lifecycles.

Ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance and comply with ITAR requirements.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience with Defence projects or cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST).

Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles.
