ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Scraper Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The role will be conducting shutdown maintenance work across various sites in Western Australia.

Reporting to the WA Operations Manager, you will be responsible for minimising breakdowns and ensuring that our conveyor products perform to customer expectations.

Onsite maintenance support for TS Global conveyors/belt hygiene products

Carry out regular maintenance

Respond to all requests promptly and in a time manner

Communicate with sites regarding arrival and departure times, status of conveyors

Provide information and advice to enhance performance of products

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you will have the following

Experience and knowledge in conveyor belt systems and associated components such as belt cleaners, rollers, skirting systems and belt tracking

Trade skills in fitting, machining, metal fabrication or mechanical highly regarded

Full Drivers Licence

Strong mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the square

Strong commitment to safety

Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team

Physically fit for long shifts over day or night with various temperatures

Willing to travel regularly throughout WA for shutdown work

Currently hold or be willing to obtain the following certificates

Confined Space + Gas Test Atmospheres

Working at Heights

Fire Attack Training

High Risk Work Licence (EWP, RB)

Police clearance (within 6 months)

Rio Tinto, FMG, BHP, MRL Inductions (desired)

PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT
