Technology Officer:
Complete Staff Solutions are seeking 2 X proactive and solutions focused Technology Officers to join our dynamic Technology & Information team at Lismore City Council.
Reporting to the IT Operations Coordinator, the Technology Officer is responsible for the provision of high level technical support in the maintenance and development of Council’s digital infrastructure and cloud computing services.
This position is part of a multi-skilled team and requires flexibility and agility. At times, the role may support multiple departments and provide broader organisational support as needed.

Selection Criteria:
Proven experience in administering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, SQL Server, desktop operating systems, virtual server environments, Layer 3 switch configuration, and firewall management and support.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in administering wide area networks (WANs) within an enterprise IT environment.
Demonstrated experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualised technologies.
Proven ability to deliver high-level customer service in a technical support environment.
Experience working collaboratively with team members to achieve shared organisational objectives, including multi-skilling, knowledge sharing, and resource coordination.
Ability to work both independently and within a team, contributing to a cooperative and productive work environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing workloads and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure, high-volume setting.
Proficient in using business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and council information systems (e.g., Authority, Content Manager, BIS).
Commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and sound decision-making practices.
Solid understanding of current desktop operating systems and Microsoft server environments.
Knowledge of, and commitment to, Equal Employment Opportunity and Work Health and Safety principles.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
