About the Role:
Are you passionate about interior design, great with people, and love the idea of helping customers bring their dream kitchen to life? We’re looking for a warm, energetic, and customer-focused Showroom Consultant to be the first point of contact for our potential renovation clients.
This role offers 30 hours per week, with hours from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. While the position is generally based in a central location such as Claremont or Osborne Park, travel to any of our five showroom locations may be required at times, depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage with showroom visitors, whether they’re just browsing or ready to begin their renovation journey
Provide a warm and informative first impression, helping customers feel confident and excited about working with our team
Listen to clients’ style preferences, needs, and renovation goals to ensure a personalised experience
Match customers with the most suitable designer based on their project scope and requirements
Offer initial guidance on layout ideas, design trends, colour palettes, and material selections
Manage and respond to enquiries across walk-ins, phone calls, and emails
Pre-qualify new leads and input/manage them through our CRM system
Guide customers through showroom displays, explaining product features and options clearly
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and a genuine interest in helping
Collaborate effectively with a team of designers, while also working independently when required
Travel between multiple showroom locations as needed
Maintain accurate records and utilise computer systems with confidence
Qualifications / Experience:
Required
Well developed computer literacy skills
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
A natural people person who loves creating positive experiences
A current drivers licence (essential for any travel)
Advantageous
Experience using 20-20 design software
Previous experience in a similar role within the cabinetry, stone or glazing industry
