Position Description – Gym Membership Sales Consultant
Great opportunity for an experienced sales consultant to work in fun and unique gym, with:
- High commission rate
- Low sales targets
- Flexibility and autonomy
- NO crazy month end close outs or crazy high pressure environment
This position is a casual hourly rate + commissions, with potential to grow as the business grows.
Position: Membership Sales
Reports to: Business Owner
Location: Osborne Park
Purpose: Responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the studio by facilitating top quality service follow ups and sales activities. Expectations of the role extend to lead generation activities and growing the member base over time.
The overarching goal is to ensure our members are happy and growing in number.
Key Performance Indicators:
Adhere to the monthly performance criteria set by the Owner for both new members and corporate business. This team member must personally make calls, book appointments, and secure new members each week.
Become proficient in the Sales Systems/Training, including but not limited to using the NAP, LEGO Phone scripting, POSR, Closing and more. Target of 95% systems compliance across sales. Training provided.
Lead Generation target of 15+ outreach leads per month.
Work with external sales and business advisory team to ensure weekly targets are being met.
Adhere to the sales ratios; 50% contact to appointment ratio and 50% Close Ratio with an average of 1 Point of Sale Referral per sale.
Skills / Attitudes:
A positive and professional attitude is essential.
The drive for success mixed with basic sales/marketing skills as a minimum.
Must be willing to work towards both individual and team goals.
Strong ability to present to groups and individuals.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
Help manage all existing corporate partnerships and develop new corporate relationships as directed by business leaders.
Deliver monthly corporate and member sales results to the company.
Help manage social media accounts and ensure growth in terms of followers, engagement and ultimately sales outcomes from the platforms.
Manage new member sales discussions, make outbound sales calls, book in members to studio tours and complete sales presentations.
Attend and oversee activity at casual leasing sites or community events when they have been booked for the club.
Develop partnerships with local businesses for effective distribution of lead boxes, networking etc.
Seek out and participate in special events to generate new corporate/local members.
Work closely with Owners/Consultants to build awareness of the studio in the local area.
Qualifications / Experience:
Previous sales experience, preferably in a similar Corporate or Fitness Sales environment
Sales and Marketing experience within the Fitness Industry preferred.
