Our service is run by the Wishart State School P&C Association. We offer Before School and After School Care as well as Vacation Care.

Expectations as an Educator:

• Effectively supervise and engage with the children in our care while also following our daily program which features art, craft and active play.
• Complete other daily tasks as rostered such as general cleaning duties, food service and recording your observations and reflections.
• Build relationships with our children and families.
• Be a team player.

What will you need:

• Hold a current Paid Blue Card or a willingness to obtain one immediately at his/her own expense.
• Minimum qualification requirement - working towards a Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent qualifications
• Have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.
• Be comfortable implementing and following policy and procedures.
• Be comfortable working as part of a team and providing/receiving constructive feedback.
• Be reliable, well organised and self-motivated.
• Have First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications relevant to Education and Care settings or be willing to undertake appropriate training
• Conditions of employment will be as per the Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State 2016, OSHC & Vacation Care stream.
