Ventia is seeking a Site Supervisor to join our Telecommunications team, working on key Defence-related infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of on-site operations, from early works through to project delivery and completion, while leading a multi-skilled team in a dynamic and meaningful work environment.

This role is based in Darwin, NT, and involves the construction and delivery of five new commercial antennas at one of our Defence sites in Humpty Doo.

Please note: Due to the nature of this role, Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily worksite checks, ensuring all activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Conduct site walk-outs, planning, and scoping to ensure efficient execution of construction activities
• Lead a team of subcontractors and direct team members across diverse technical and trade disciplines
• Coordinate materials and scheduling to maintain momentum and budget alignment
• Work collaboratively with clients on construction variations and outcomes, in line with business protocols
• Liaise with engineers to ensure timely availability of required equipment and materials
• Escalate critical stock shortages and ensure compliance with warehousing and stock handling procedures

About You

You will bring strong leadership, organisational skills, and experience within the construction or telecommunications sectors.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

• Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, quantity surveying or similar
• Current driver's licence, Construction White Card, and Supervisor Ticket
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors on active construction sites
• Solid understanding of civil construction and relevant client standards
• Ideally, experience across civil, electrical, telecommunications or rigging projects
• Confident in reading and interpreting complex engineering and construction plans
