Are you an experienced Quarry Supervisor looking for your next challenge in the Northern Territory? This is your opportunity to join one of the NT's most respected producers of crushed rock, aggregates, and concrete materials.
Our client is a well-established civil construction company based in Darwin, renowned for delivering high-quality outcomes across major defence, industrial, community, commercial, and remote projects throughout the NT. With a strong pipeline of current and upcoming work, they are now seeking a motivated and experienced Quarry Supervisor to lead operations at their Mt Bundy facility.
About the Role:
As Quarry Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee production operations, plant performance, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate with drill and blast contractors to meet production and quality goals.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and clients during audits and site inspections.
• Lead and supervise quarry staff, ensuring high performance and safety standards.
• Operate vehicles, plant, and equipment as required in a safe and efficient manner.
• Actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Maintain respect and care for company equipment, vehicles, and personnel.
What you need to succeed:
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a quarrying environment at Supervisor level (applicants with extensive experience at a Quarry will be considered)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Relevant mobile plant tickets and a current HR licence
• A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and team development
• Must be based in the Darwin region or be willing to relocate as this is an on site role
