Located in the Sutherland Shire, Ekinex Australia is the local distribution branch of an Italian manufacturer for luxury high end KNX home automation switches and controls. The company provides products and technical support solutions to specialised integrators, architects and designers in the exciting and ever-growing field of home automation.

A person who is technically minded with qualifications or experience in electrical, technology, controls, IT, networking or similar fields to assist clients with the technical aspects of the product is preferred, although non-technical candidates will still be considered.

Currently a small business, we are part of a larger group of companies with additional support available both locally and internationally. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company, and we look forward to welcoming a new team member in the role of Internal Salesperson at our newly built state of the art Kurnell office.

In this position, you will play a crucial role as the first point of contact for many of our valued customers. We are looking for someone who possesses strong interpersonal skills and views customer service as a top priority. As the company continues to grow, so will the opportunities to develop and progress in your role.

On-the-job training will be provided to ensure you excel in your responsibilities.

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Handling technical sales inquiries and providing quotations

Providing sales support to our sales representatives

Accurately processing project planner orders in line with company processes

Utilizing intermediate / advanced computer skills with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and reliable individual with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Building rapport with clients and consistently delivering a high level of service are essential aspects of this role.
