Workfast is looking for an Accountant for a valued client based in Wangara, WA, paying $40.00 Per Hour + Penalties.

Our client has over 35 years of experience delivering high-quality hospitality solutions across Western Australia. They specialise in kitchen design, equipment sales and hire, custom fabrication, and ongoing maintenance services. With a focus on tailored solutions, they support a wide range of venues, events, and service styles. Their expert team ensures craftsmanship and reliability across both bespoke and off-the-shelf offerings.

What you get:

• $40.00 Per Hour + Penalties
• Monday - Friday - 08.00am - 4.30pm
• Immediate Start

What you need:

• Australian Driver's License & Own Car
• Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent)
• Strong proficiency in XERO and related add-ons
• Solid understanding of BAS requirements and lodgment process
• Experience with inter-company transactions and loan reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and lodge BAS statements in compliance with ATO requirements
• Maintain and reconcile the chart of accounts across multiple entities
• Manage and track inter-company loans and reconciliations
• Utilise Xero for day-to-day bookkeeping, reporting, and financial analysis
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare management reports and financial statements
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as required
• Identify and implement process improvements for financial operations
