Bread Production Supervisor – AM Shift (Sponsorship Available)

💰 Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (Based on experience and award conditions)

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for baking and guiding high-performing teams? At Earlyrise Baking Co, we’re on the lookout for a Bread Production Supervisor to join our production team and lead the way in crafting our iconic bread varieties — white, multigrain, wholemeal, fruit loaves, sourdoughs, brioche and more.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervising and working alongside our Bread Department team to ensure smooth production, consistent quality, and a strong, collaborative culture.

🕒 Shift Details

This is a rotating roster with the following weekly pattern:

Week 1: Monday to Friday | 6:00 am – 3:30 pm

Week 2: Sunday to Thursday | 6:00 am – 3:30 pm

You’ll alternate weekly to ensure smooth handover and consistent coverage across the Bread Department.

About the Role

In your role as a Bread Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

Lead by Example: Guide and mentor the team while working shoulder to shoulder in daily production.

Schedule & Resource Coordination: Ensure production schedules are met by coordinating staff duties and managing ingredient and supply orders.

Champion Food Safety: Uphold and exceed cleanliness, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Work Safe, Think Safe, Bake Safe: Promote WHS best practices and build a strong safety-first culture.

Engage and Develop: Support the Production Manager in driving team engagement and performance improvement.

About You

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing or food production.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bakery, production, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment.

While not mandatory, an AQF qualification in Baking or a related food production qualification would be highly regarded;

Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards (formal training a bonus).

Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality in work.

Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25kg).
