Are you an experienced site manager or project manager with expertise in elevator removals and installations? Vertical Transport Solutions is seeking a highly skilled leader to manage complex lift decommissioning projects with precision and efficiency.

About the Role

As the Supervisor/ Site Manager for our Elevator Removals Team, you will oversee the safe and strategic removal of lift systems in commercial and residential properties. You will coordinate site operations, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage elevator removal projects from initiation to completion

Coordinate work schedules, subcontractors, and site personnel

Ensure compliance with safety standards, including AS 1735 lift regulations

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless execution

Manage budgets, procurement, and project timelines

Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance records

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in elevator removals, lift installation, or construction project management

Strong leadership and site management capabilities

Knowledge of AS 1735 compliance and industry safety standards

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to solve problems and navigate challenges on-site

Relevant trade qualification or construction/project management certification
