About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with strong design and project management capabilities to join our residential development team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of professional experience, particularly in residential design and council applications within South Australia.

You will be responsible for leading the architectural design process from concept through to construction documentation. Working closely with our Development Manager, you will guide the design direction across multiple residential projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architectural design for residential projects from early concept to construction documentation.

Manage and mentor a small team (junior drafter and project administrator).

Prepare and submit planning applications to local councils in South Australia.

Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and development team to align design with project goals and timelines.

Ensure drawings and documentation meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Manage design progress, drawing packages, and client/developer feedback loops.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture.

3–5 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in residential design in South Australia.

Strong understanding of local council planning processes and NCC/BCA compliance.

Proficiency in Revit is essential.

Strong communication and project coordination skills.
