Your next role:
- Leverage your networks and build productive relationships with stakeholders to grow client numbers in any service offering you wish (NDIS, HCP, telehealth, adults, paediatrics – the choice is endless!)
- Provide supervision, mentoring and support to other Occupational Therapists
- Deliver services in people’s homes, schools, clinics, the community and at day centres
- Conduct assessments, implement high quality therapeutic interventions and strategies, and review and evaluate client needs, to promote engagement, their life choices and enable goal achievement
- Assess for and provide assistive technology to allow safe participation in daily activities and occupations
- Keep thorough documentation and progress notes in line with funding requirements, legislation and internal processes
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to develop and advance service delivery
- Participate in quality improvement, research and service development projects when required
About you:
- An Occupational Therapist registered with AHPRA, with experience in the disability sector and a sound understanding of NDIS
- Personable, able to develop strong rapport and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driven to expand service offerings
- Demonstrated ability conducting functional capacity assessments and creating goal oriented care plans
- Respectful team player and supportive leader who is motivated by ongoing learning and passionate about family centred practice
- Models values of connection, curiosity, courage and commitment to achieve outcomes that make a positive impact
