The Role

As our Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll bring your expertise to our multidisciplinary team, providing specialized assessment and intervention for children, young people and their families. With support from our leadership team, you'll have opportunities to develop specialized programs, supervise junior staff, and contribute to our practice's strategic direction.

Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical excellence: comprehensive assessments, evidence-based interventions, and outcome-focused therapy

Leadership and mentoring: supporting junior therapists and students through supervision and guidance

Program development: creating and implementing specialized therapeutic programs aligned with practice goals

Team collaboration: working seamlessly with our psychologists, social workers other allied health professionals, and administrative staff

Professional advocacy: representing occupational therapy perspectives in treatment planning and multidisciplinary meetings

The position is permanent full-time with flexibility to consider part time for the right candidate. We offer competitive remuneration packages based on experience and expertise.

About Us
At our clinic, we provide specialized psychological care to children, young adults and families across Geelong and the Surf Coast. Led by Dr. Nicole Carvill, our team of highly skilled child psychologists, occupational therapists, and trauma-informed social workers offer care grounded in empathy, best practices, and a deep respect for neurodiversity. We celebrate and support children’s unique neurotype as an integral part of their identity, creating an inclusive and affirming space for all.

Our clinic is a place where excellence in care and meaningful connection come together to make a lasting impact on families. Our clinic is carefully designed to meet sensory needs and feels more like a day spa than clinic (e.g., low lighting, carefully selected wall colours and furnishings). We offer a calm, comfortable, spacious and welcoming clinic that provides a sense of safety for our clients and clinicians.
