As part of this exciting expansion, we are helping them recruit a Tax
Accountant for a 12 month+ contract to join their dynamic finance team in their eastern suburbs head office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a tax or business services accountant looking to make their first move out of professional services into a high-performing corporate environment. You’ll join a high-energy team with great mentorship, exposure to complex tax structures, and genuine career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reconciliations for the group and associated entities.
• Prepare and coordinate reports and financials across all entities in the group.
• Calculate and report tax liabilities for inclusion in group accounting records.
• Provide practical support on day-to-day tax matters, including queries from internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation and lodgment of BAS and other ATO compliance requirements.
• Liaise with external advisors and taxation authorities as needed.
• Own the tax function across group entities — from compliance to strategic support.

About You

• 3–4 years' experience in tax, business services or corporate accounting.
• Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting.
• Experience with both corporate and family office structures is desirable.
• CA or CPA qualified (or working toward).
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Eager to grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
