Customer Service Officer – Hallam, Victoria.
Total Hardware is a hardware business who specialise in the supply of products to the window, door and security industries Australia wide.
Based in Hallam, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic team player with an eye for detail and appropriate “can do” attitude to join our customer service team offering our clients exceptional customer service.
The duties for this role shall include:
Answering incoming phone calls.
Management of the email inbox.
Supporting the National Customer Service Manager and national customer service team.
Accurately entering data into the company software.
Distribution of the daily orders into the warehouse for picking and packing.
Assisting customers with product enquiries via email or phone.
Ensuring the branch customers are treated with respect, display empathy for your colleagues and customers and ensure you adhere to the company national policy, process, safety and always working procedures.
Maintain branch presentation and upkeep.
Processing of customer quotes, orders & invoices
Communicating with customers regarding orders & delivery status of backorders.
Processing credit card payments.
Provide support to the sales team and special pricing.
General administration duties including filing and scanning as required.
Attending to showroom customers.
The successful applicant shall have previous experience in an attention top detail and dynamic workplace as well as:
· An ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers using well developed verbal and written communication.
· Minimum two (2) years in a similar role is preferred however, not essential.
· Be prepared to get your hands dirty obtaining the information and data required to get the job done.
· Have an outstanding attention to detail whilst maintaining the highest quality.
· High-level problem-solving ability.
· An ability prioritise and time manage effectively.
· Strong Microsoft skillset.
· Experience with Wiise and Zap would be an advantage
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to “own this role” and make it their own and enjoy the opportunity to grow with the business.
This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 4.30pm with ongoing training and support provided.
