Efficiently track, update, and report on all assigned tasks through the Lumicom support portal, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Foster collaboration with internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Primary Duties

Install, move, and modify audio-visual equipment and other related equipment following job specifications, standards, and procedures.

Manage connections within systems, such as patching in equipment racks.

Execute cable pulling & terminations with proficiency in soldering.

Ensure proper mounting of various equipment including LCDs, projectors, speakers, and other audio-visual components, ensuring they are secure, level, and centered.

Read and interpret schematic diagrams and drawings to effectively install and troubleshoot systems.

Provide constructive feedback to project engineers as needed.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and undertake the necessary repair actions.

Conduct standardised test procedures to ensure systems functionality.

Maintain and repair equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and specifications.

Accurately maintain and report records of hours worked and materials used.

Train customers on system use and maintenance procedures.

Respond to service calls as required.

Perform additional functions incidental to installation activities.

Required Skills and Experience

Must hold a current driver’s license.

Possession of a White Card certificate.

Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and schematics.

Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of the AV industry and its components.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Effective time management abilities.

Strong attention to detail.
