This is a full-time, EBA-covered position offering $40–$44 per hour including allowances, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

As a Communications, Security & Data Technician, you will:

• Install, repair and maintain systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms, and data cabling in residential, commercial and industrial settings.

• Conduct diagnostics using testing equipment and ensure safe, efficient system performance.

• Work closely with supervisors, clients, and project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Supervise and mentor apprentices or trainees as needed, promoting safety and skill development.

• Complete service reports, job documentation, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and WHS protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Current Driver’s Licence
✅ Open Cabling Registration
✅ Private Security Individual Registration (Victoria)
✅ Experience in communications, data, or security installations and maintenance
✅ Strong knowledge of system components, wiring, testing and troubleshooting
✅ Ability to interpret plans and schematics, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
✅ Safety-conscious, proactive, and team-oriented
