We’re working with a busy, well-run Australian organisation looking for a capable Finance Officer to join their close-knit team. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, ownership and working across multiple entities.

The Role

You’ll be supporting core transactional finance functions across a range of accounts processes. No two days look quite the same - you’ll be across payables, receivables, reconciliations and internal follow-ups to help keep things moving. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-

Managing three shared mailboxes and triaging finance-related queries

Receipting payments and entering or raising purchase orders

Following up approvals with internal stakeholders (via phone or email)

Preparing and processing fortnightly payment runs

Investigating and recording intercompany transactions and related banking entries

Accounts receivable support

Bank reconciliations across all accounts

About You

You’re confident, proactive and comfortable working across a range of finance tasks. You’ve likely worked in a finance support or transactional role before and enjoy keeping the wheels turning - with accuracy and follow-through.

You’ll bring:

Solid experience in accounts processing (AP, AR and reconciliations)

Attention to detail and confidence chasing approvals or resolving queries

Strong time management and the ability to work across multiple entities

A positive, collaborative approach to working in a small team environment
