The Role: This role is officially titled "Management Accounting Support Officer" will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective finance administrative service to accounting staff within a leading State Government's finance team. The main day-to-day responsibilities of the team will include:

• Preparing invoices for processing including both supplier and customer
  invoices
• Assisting in month end reporting and financial requirements including
  journals, preparation of reports, analysis of results, acquittals and cost
  centre maintenance
• Performing daily financial administrative activities for Clinical agency
  payments including goods receipting, purchase order maintenance,
  invoice tracking, scanning and electronic filing of forms, preparing
  journals to the finance system, provision of support to other Finance
  Officers and running standard finance reports as required.
• Organising administrative support requirements of the management
  accounting team including mail, registers and meeting coordination
• Contributing to the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the
  Divisional budget, including preparation of budget estimates and
  analysis of data to support budget preparation.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in high-volume Accounts Payable functions.
• Background in a Health related organisation ideal
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Familiarity with government finance processes is advantageous.
