This is a unique opportunity to combine your accounting and IT abilities in a diverse role. Commencing as a temporary employee with the view to move into the permanent role you will play a pivotal role within the business. You will deal with multiple stakeholders and support the Senior Accountant. Head Office based in Toowong, close o train and bus routes.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the responsibilities of the role will include,

• Full function Accounts Payable, Billings and Receivables
• Assisting with month end journals and accruals
• Bank, Supplier and GL reconciliations
• Assisting with Management reporting
• Assisting in the set up and deployment of new devices
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing IT problems
• Responding to IT tickets and queries
• IT inventory management

About You
The successful applicant will have/be,

• Tech savvy, with a passion for innovation and learning
• Experienced in payables, receivables and month end
• Strong Excel and Xero experience
• Strong systems and IT support experience
• Well developed communication and organisational skills
• A professional and positive team player
