Workforce Planning & Data Analyst – Aged Care Assessment Team

We are seeking a Workforce Planning & Data Analyst to support our Aged Care Assessment team. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and disseminating data to optimize operational performance and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse referral volumes, trends, and Assessor utilization to determine staffing requirements.
Monitor Assessor availability, ensuring internal stakeholders receive timely updates on staffing levels.
Collaborate with stakeholders for effective leave management, balancing performance and team well-being.
Build forecasting models for mid-to-long-term resource planning.
Utilize workforce management software and internal data sources to accurately project future volumes.
Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into historical data and forecasting trends.
Implement communication strategies to address staffing issues proactively.
Support mileage and locum work reduction through forward planning and analysis.
Conduct mileage assessments and provide recommendations for optimization.
Contribute to BI solution development, ensuring data integrity and usability.
Test IT solutions and communicate system updates effectively.
Extract, merge, and analyse datasets from multiple sources for actionable insights.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of successful forecasting and planning experience, preferably in an operational environment
• Demonstrated experience in developing strategic workforce planning or resource management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Experience working with internal stakeholders to build and maintain IT platform, dashboards and reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency
