About the Role:

We're partnering with a well-established Australian enterprise to recruit a Systems Administrator for their internal IT team. This hands-on, Sydney-based role involves supporting and maintaining core infrastructure across a large hybrid environment. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, contributing to system improvements, and supporting ongoing infrastructure projects - all while delivering a great end-user experience.

About You:

• 3+ years in Level 2/3 Systems Administration experience within an enterprise setting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft tech stack - Windows Servers, AD, Office 365, PowerShell, and MS SQL.
• Solid hands-on experience with VMware.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure - switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with backup technologies, especially Veeam, and Linux in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.

Role Accountabilities:

• Respond to escalated support tickets and proactively resolve infrastructure issues.
• Execute patching, system maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
• Support infrastructure project delivery and ongoing system improvement initiatives.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline operations.
