Location: Port Adelaide, SA
Classification: ASO2 - Full-time (Mon-Fri) / 3-month Contract
Payrate: $37-$38 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our client's dynamic finance team in their Port Adelaide branch. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth financial operations of a vital public service agency, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and payment requests in line with government policies and procedures
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment queries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Support monthly reconciliation and reporting tasks
• Assist in continuous improvement of accounts payable processes

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in accounts payable or similar financial administration roles (required)
• National Police Clearance (obtained within 12 months)
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., TechOne, SAP)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Call centre and data entry experience desirable.
